DAY 01:Yangon arrival
Welcome by the Marco Polo representative on arrival at Yangon international airport and transfer to the hotel. After a brief fresh up at hotel, begins the orientation tour of Yangon. Explore the commercial capital city Yangon, the biggest city in Myanmar with a population of 5 millions. Its tree lined wide avenues, its shady green parks, and the beautiful huge lakes give Yangon the reputation of one of the most charming and lively cities in Asia. The orientation tour of Yangon includes Sule Pagoda (landmark in city centre) –is unusual in that its octagonal shape extends right up to the bell and inverted bowl, the City Hall & Colonial buildings, Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda – which includes an enormous reclining Buddha, photo stop at Karaweik Hall & Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake. At sunset, visit the marvelous Shwedagon Pagoda, the glistening golden stupa that towers over the capital and one of the wonders of the world, is the spiritual centre of the country.
DAY 02:Yangon / Kawthaung (by flight) – Kawthaung sightseeing (by car)
Breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Kawthaung. Arrive Kawthaung, visit the city Kawthaung , formerly called Victoria Point, is the southern-most town of Myanmar and the starting point to explore the Mergui Archipelago. Then visit to hot spring, small water fall at Maliwun Village 24 miles north from the town, Shan Monastery, 555 mountains, Pyaitawaye Pagoda, states of King Bayintnaung. In the evening, transfer to the hotel.
Day 3: Rich Man Island ~ Salone Island ~ Yadana Island (by boat)
Early morning at 6, you will be transfer to Rich Man Island by boat . Andaman Club on the Thahtaykyun island is located west of Kawthaung. Leisure time till 1:00. You will be transfer back to Kawthaung. Then directly go to visit Salong Island which is 2 hour drive from Kawthaung. Then transfer back to Kawthaug and go to visit Yadana Island by boat. Return to hotel.
Day 4: Kawthaung – Rich Man Island – Ranong
Breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to jetty, visit to Ranong. Across the Pakchan River lays the border town Ranong (Ranong Province in southern Thailand). The river, which forms a natural boundary between Thailand and Myanmar, runs all the way up to Kra Buri (“Istmus of Kra”) 50km south of Chumphon, which is also the trading gate way from northern to southern Thailand. Ranong Province is famous for its fertile ground attracting rubber tree-, palm oil-, and cashew nut plantations. Natural hot springs, waterfalls and lush tropical rainforest can be found in the area.
Day 5: Kawthaung / Yanogn (by flight)
Breakfast at the hotel. According to flight time_table , You will be transfer back to airport to proceed to Yangon. Arrive Yangon; visit to one of Yangon’s fabulous bazaars- an endless jumble of color, clamor, heady aromas and contraband goods. Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott) which has an enormous array of consumer goods and has the largest collections of souvenirs from all over Myanmar. This will be a wonderful opportunity to pick up some handicrafts.After shopping, proceed to China Town and walk around in the area. This late afternoon, you can stroll along the Yangon River to end up the day.
Day 6: Yangon departure
Breakfast at the Hotel, enjoy a leisurely morning. You will be transferred back to the airport in time for your flight back home.
